Our Pottery is made in the USA by skilled artisans here in Monmouth Illinois. Each piece is made the old fashion way by hand, decorated by hand and then loaded by hand into a kiln. We use the primitive techniques where rock salt is introduced during the firing process to create a durable salt glaze finish. Because of the nature in which it is created, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. As with any handmade ware, each piece will be unique. Choice of Finishes
We offer two distinctly different choices of finish.  With our Traditional Finish the salt glaze appearance is buff gray to light tan in color. This is a nice choice for design rich products or a more quite, contemporary appearance.
Our very popular Primitive Brown salt glaze finish has been recently introduced. This method provides a very beautiful antique reproduction appearance. The intensity of the brown varies from piece to piece and, because of the natural organic materials in the clay, handing marks may be evident. These imperfections only add to the uniqueness of each piece. |  | Shipping, Handling and Sales Tax
Currently we can only ship to the 48 contiguous United States or their APO, FPOs All order shipments are sent by FedEx Ground delivery. Be sure to provide your street address when checking out. We can not deliver to PO Boxes. Shipping is merely $10.50 first item and +$2 each additional piece regardless of size!
Illinois residents only will be charged an additional 7.25% sales tax. This is automatically calculated during checkout. |
